City of Perth was spending thousands year after year on repeatedly replacing bollards and expensive pavements. They asked us to develop a solution that would provide protection for young saplings and be removable once they had grown; reduce damage to vehicles; reduce the cost of maintenance; and provide a long term solution. Shown here are Surface Mount Impact Recovery Bollards in St George's Tce
|
THEY HAD TRIED IN-GROUND BOLLARDSThey had tried steel concrete filled bollards but found that they were constantly being impacted by service vehicles, causing major damage to surrounding pavements, becoming extremely costly to constantly replace creating major disturbance in the busy city streets

|
THEY TRIED REMOVABLE BOLLARDSThey tried removable bollards secured on metal ground sockets that very quickly became loose and unstable, dirt and grit entered the socket requiring regular cleaning and consequently both the bollards and ground sockets had to be replaced ZERO WASTE Foundations continue working for the life of a development ensuring bollards remain perfectly aligned |
THEY TRIED SURFACE MOUNT BOLLARDSThey tried surface mounted bollards that bent in no time- looking very unsightly, or the concrete anchors were ripped from the footing They also found the base plates and concrete anchors rusted out very quickly, causing dangerous litigation risks and the powder coating faded quickly, chipped and peeled Our Surface Mount Bollards are Impact Resistant and stay looking good year after year |

A SAFER MORE SUSTAINABLE ALTERNATIVE TO STEEL BOLLARDSWe are non-conductive, we don’t dent, chip and although we can be scratched, as we are the same colour throughout (a massive 7 mm thick) the scratches don’t show. We take impact from vehicles and bounce back, becoming even more resistant to impact when secured using using the “Impact Recovery System” Western Power Recommended

SAFETY LOW IMPACTSolid steel Bollards were creating a dangerous litigation risk on Bike Paths for Main Roads Dept who came to us for a solution that would reduce risk of injury to bike riders and prevent unauthorised vehicle entry We developed the Low Impact Bike Path Bollard secured using a Super-flex Impact Recovery Rings to prevent vehicle entry and enable bollards to deflect upon low impact such as bike riders or trolleys and slowly self-recover, improving safety, reducing the risk of injury to bike riders and substantially reducing the on-going cost of maintenance |
ALMOST ANY DESIGNYou can choose from Steel, Impact Resistant Stainless steel, or our extremely durable Advanced Polymer bollards in almost any colour in-ground or surface mount. (Or use our Impact Recovery System to secure your own bollards) Designed to last: We design and manufacture our bollards in Australia to withstand impact and Australian environmental conditions - reusable impact after impact
