CLASSIFICATION AND FUNCTION

In AS1742.1, signs are classified by function into 6 classes.  The Main Roads WA's Index of Signs retains this classification system, except that Guide signs are split into 3 classes as indicated in Table 1.  All Main Roads Signs Index signs have the prefix "MR-" before the letter code denoting the class of sign.

MAKE CONCRETE FOOTINGS RE-USABLE

“ Our selection is not based on price alone, we also took into consideration the safety & saving aspects.

ZERO WASTE Foundations allow quick replacement of posts with no further effort required to the base, (providing a significant cost benefit in replacing the damaged sign post by re-using the existing footing ) and reduces risk of injury to employees by reducing time spent on traffic islands exposed to traffic.” MRWA
