Only replaceable component: The wall thickness of the internal core determines the frangibility of the bollard and resistance against damage. If internal core is bent- it is easily replaceable
A Medium Gauge Internal Core 3.6 mm wall thickness, is recommended for car-parks and to protect vehicles from damage (poly bollards are also a good idea to reduce vehicle damage)
A Heavy Duty Internal Core 4.5 mm wall thickness can be used to reduce damage to the post if you are experiencing high level of damage using the lighter walled posts (if bollard may be subject to impact from utility vehicles or trucks).
A solid steel 60 mm diameter steel core is inserted if you want to prevent the bollard from deflecting beyond 20 degrees when impacted. A solid steel core stops passenger vehicles in their tracks. (NB: this is stronger than a large 150 mm steel bollard (5mm wall) and only suitable for 650 mm depth foundations)
The core can be modified to enable removal using a simple foot removal tool
